Comprehensive Drone Training Program

The training followed DGCA-approved drone pilot certification standards and included multiple learning phases:

1. Theoretical Learning:

Bihar Police personnel started with classroom sessions covering:

• Drone regulations & safety protocols
• Airspace management & legal compliance
• Tactical mission planning for law enforcement

2. Simulator Training:

To ensure risk-free learning, officers practiced real-world flight scenarios in high-fidelity simulators. This phase helped them develop confidence in drone controls and emergency handling.

3. Practical Flight Training:

The most exciting phase involved hands-on drone flying, where officers learned:

• Precision drone maneuvering
• High-altitude surveillance techniques
• Emergency response drills

4. Night Flying Operations:

Recognizing the importance of UAVs in low-light security operations, a dedicated night flying session was conducted. Officers learned to operate drones effectively in low-visibility conditions, a crucial skill for night patrols and search operations.

Successful Completion & Certification

The Bihar Police team, consisting of 4 male and 1 female officer, successfully completed the training and received drone pilot certifications. Their feedback highlighted the practicality, structure, and real-world applications of the training program.
